Red brick house of circa 1670 and almost identical with New Amberden Hall which
is situated about half a mile to the south-east. Two storeys and attics.
Five window range of bar and transom casements. Central doorway with rectangular
fanlight, pilasters and a broken pediment. A raised brick band extends across
the front between the storeys. Roof tiled, with 3 hipped dormers and 2 end
chimney stacks. (RCHM 8).
