Now 4 tenements. Renovated. C16 timber-framed and plastered house built on
a half H plan with wings projecting to the east. The west front is gabled at
the north and south ends and at the south end the upper storey is jettied on
the front. Two storeys and attics. On the south side the upper storey has
exposed timber-framing. A modern addition is built on to the north end and
a single storey addition at the south end. Casement windows. There is an original
doorway at the south end. Roof tiled, with an original external chimney stack
(stepped) at the south end with 2 hexagonal shafts. The interior has heavy
exposed timber-framing, ceiling beams and joists. (RCHM 15).
