C17 timber-framed and plastered house with C18 and later alterations.
Two storeys and attics. Four window range of modern casements. There
is a 6-panel door with an C18 pedimented doorcase. Roof tiled, hipped,
with 2 gabled dormers at the rear, an original central chimney stack and
external stack with offsets at the north end (shaft rebuilt). The east
front has a coved plaster eaves cornice and the roof is swept down low
at the rear. (RCHM 11).
