Early C16 or earlier house, with 2 gabled crosswings. Timber framed and plastered
with red plain tile roof. Two storeys. Four window range, C19 diamond pane
casements, C19 plain casements, C17 iron casement and one modern casement. Two
C17 gabled dormers. C18, 6 panel door with simple moulded canopy and architraves.
C16 red brick chimney stack with diagonal shafts. Much of the original frame
remains and there is some C17 panelling. (RCHM5).
