My grandfather Alfred Charles Stracey was born at the Old Mill Takely on the 26th January 1916. His father Alfred James Stracey was the beerhouse keeper & wheelwright at the time. His mother was Ethel Rose Dorrington. I have heard that it is supposed to be haunted.I would love to hear from anyone else who knows about the building
