C15 hall house with gabled and jettied crosswing at east end. One bay of hall
remains. One storey and attics and 2 storeys. Red plain tile roof, half hipped
at west end. Two window range, leaded casements. One gabled dormer. C16 red
brick chimney stack. Timber framing exposed at west end, and on crosswing front.
Modern extension to rear. Crown post roof to hall, with jowled posts, arch bracing
and cambered tie beam. Modern lean-to extension on east side. (RCHM12).
