Cottage, late C16 and timber framed and plastered. One storey and attics with half-
hipped thatched roof with 2 gabled, thatched dormers and central, C20 half-hipped,
thatched porch. Front has C19 casements with small panes. Central, red brick, ridge
line, stack. Former hall house with jowled posts, straight bracing to partition and
top plates, which have halved and bladed scarf joints. Side purlin roof with wind-
bracing in N bay. Various C20 rear extension and gabled peg tile roofed garage at
S end.
