Barn, C14 and later. Timber framed and plastered with black weatherboarding on E wall
over high brick plinth. Peg tile half hipped roof with gableta and one off centre,
gabled midstrey on E, 2 gabled midstreys and 2 gabled dormers on W. Aisled on both
sides, the arcade has numerous ancient posts, reused from previous structures. The
N end wall is a complete 'reversed assembly' truss with arched bracing. The roof is
of mid-C17 with straight wind bracing and side purlins. A variety of scarf joints of
the splayed, trait-de-Jupiter, undersquinted abutment and splayed with bridles types.
