Richmonds in the Wood

Early C14, originally an aisled hall with gabled cross-wing at south end. Hall
extensively rebuilt in late C16. Timber framed and plastered with red plain tile
half hipped roof. 1 storey and attics. 4 window range modern casements. Modern
gabled porch. Modern lean-to at rear. C16 roof oversails cross-wing, which is
jettied to rear. Late C16 red brick chimney stack. Internally original framing
remains, and is exposed in cross-wing.
