Late Cl5 and mid C16 house, incorporating earlier remains, and externally faced in
1898. Timber framed and plastered, with red brick cladding and late C19 imitation
exposed timber framing. Red plain tile roof. 2 storeys. Gabled cross-wing at north
and south ends. 1, 5, 1, window range, late cl9 casements. C16 and late c19 red
brick chimney stacks. Internally, much of the timber frame is exposed, with jovled
storey posts, arch braced tie beams, and stop chamfered bridging joists. Numerous C16
and C18 doors. C16 stone fireplace, with smoke spandrels.
