House C16 or earlier, hall house with later alterations. 2 storeys. Plain red tiled
roof with 3 gables, those to left and right with jetties and also outshot to right.
Timber framed and plastered. 3 range of sliding sash windows with glazed margins.
Outshot porch with support pillars and carved head. Panelled door with 2 lights.
Attached diagonal shaft red brick chimney to lower left roof, square chimney stack
to right. Plaque reading 1565 to central gable. RCHM 41
