House. C17 or earlier of complex plan with later additions and alterations.
Timber framed and plastered with C20 pargetting. Red plain tiled roofs of
double range with gable ends to road frontage, a set back wing to left with
small single storey hipped extension to left and C20 hipped porch. To the right
is another wing with exposed timber frame and behind this a possible porch or
stair turret. Mainly 2 storeys. Road frontage has 6 window range first floor 4
range to ground floor of mainly small paned sliding sashes. C20 nailed and
board door with lights to right and left. Red brick chimney stack to left wing
and C20 probably rebuilt attached octagonal shaft. Stack to double range.
