Formerly a C16 timber-framed and plastered farmhouse built on an L-shaped plan.
Timber-framed and plastered. 2 storeys and attics. The 1st storey is jettied
on the north front supported on curved brackets also on the south front of the east
wing. The windows are casements with lattice leaded lights, 2 window range on the
north front. Gabled wings extend on the west side. Roof tiled. The interior has
exposed timber-framing and ceiling joists. (RCHM 4).
