A late C16 timber-framed house with a cross wing at the east end. Refronted in the
late C19 in brick (painted). 2 storeys. 5 window range double hung sashes with
single vertical glazing bars, in plain reveals. The ground storey has 3 canted bays.
Roof C20 concrete tiles. There are 2 chimney stacks each with 3 square shafts set
diagonally. The lower part is old brick. (Rebuilt). The interior has exposed
ceiling beams (1 is encased and panelled) and some exposed framing. There are also
C18 features. A first storey room has a good bolection moulded fire surround.
