House. C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed and rough
rendered. Red plain tiled roof, rear red brick chimney stack. 2 storeys. 2
window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes. Central C20 door with
moulded surround. Left C20 extension with roof hipped to left and C20 3 light
casements. Tall rear range circa 1921 and single storey range. Interior
features include, jowled storey posts, C17 stairs and fireplaces; C18 archway to
stairs with fluted pilasters, C18 cupboard with semi-circular head. One first
floor room with shallow vaulted ceiling and Greek key frieze. Side purlin and
collared roof. In garden, the site of windmill shown on Chapman and Andre map
of 1777.
