Cottage. C15 origin with C17 and later alterations and additions. Timber
framed and plastered. Red plain tiled roof. Off centre right red brick chimney
stack. In course of restoration at time of resurvey. 2 gabled dormers. One
storey and attics, dormer at rear. 3-window range of small paned casements. C20
open gabled porch, vertically boarded door, simple surround. Date inscription
1738 to rear dormer. Internal evidence of original open hall with substantial
studded and braced partition.
