Public House. Of at least 4 builds C16 or earlier with C17, C18 and later
alterations and additions. Timber framed, painted brick faced with dentilled
eaves cornices. Left and rear off centre chimney stacks. Roofs of 3 levels
face the road, that to right hipped to left with gable of a rear range rising
above the ridge. 2 storeys. 1:1:1 first floor, 1:1:3 ground floor small paned
vertically sliding sashes, those to ground floor with segmental heads, excepting
left corner, which has a return window to Anchor Lane, frieze and cornice over.
A vertically boarded door, simple surround flat canopy on brackets to left and
right ranges.
