GV II

Former house, now bank; late C18 or early C19; Flemish bond
brickwork, tiled roof. Two windows wide, 'L'plan, 2 storeys and
attics. Late C20 bank front on ground floor; first floor 2 paired
sash windows, rubbed-brick arches, double cyma keystones. Heavily
moulded eaves, centre part fretwork. Two-light window to hipped
dormer. Roof hipped on right corner. Right return to Culver
Street; bank front on left: sash window with flat brick arch and
vertical joint in brickwork to right. Similar window above,
brick-on-edge dentil course to eaves. To right block slightly
lower, brick and random-rubble stone plinth, cambered brick arches
to all openings. Blocked window on left, 4-pane sash to right, 4-
pane fixed light, blocked window, late C20 casement and door in
earlier openings, blocked window. Above 4 blocked windows, three
4-pane sashes: dentil eaves course. At rear lower timber-framed
section, double boarded doors below, shuttered opening above.
