Pair of semi-detached houses; C17 or earlier, refaced mid C19;
Flemish bond brickwork, stone lintels, tiled roof. Three window
front, doors between outer pairs of windows, 2 rooms deep, 2
storeys. Plain brick plinth, on left canted oriel window, sash,
bracket under, flat head, moulded edge. Beyond 6 panel front door
up 2 stone steps, panels flush, stepped stone voussoirs to flat
head. Sash window with similar head beyond. To right further
front door, as left, but door late C20 half-glazed: further sash
window beyond, as left. First floor plain stone string course: 3
sash windows, upper sash single pane high, lintel as below: right
hand window altered late C20 to 2 equal sashes. Flat, boarded
eaves on paired brackets. Brick chimney on ridge in centre.
Timber-framed cross wall inside left door: post for front wall set
back on right, indicating a jetty originally. Heavy chamfer to
floor beam over on left with bar stop.
