GV II

Pedestal tomb; John Wood, died 1827; stone. Flat pyramid top,
step to moulded edge of lid. Reeded frieze with square corner
blocks with paterae: corners same moulding, with plain block at
base. Sides plain with sunk margin. Moulded plinth, square base
formerly carrying railings, with further step outside.
Commemorates John Wood, various earlier and later dates noted,
latest 1883.
