13/134 Bower monument, in the churchyard,
about 8m north of priest's door,
chancel, Church of St. Mary

GV II

Chest tomb; Thomas Bower, died 1775; stone. Flat lid, moulded
edge, slightly indented corners long edge. Frieze alternating
fluted and blank sections. Sides raised oval panel, double
bay leaf swag above, falling down at each end. Burning torches
carved on return edges of ends; ends fielded panel. Base covered
by ground.
