GV II

House; early C18, altered late C18 or early C19; rendered brick
front, exposed brick side, slate roof. 5-window wide to street,
L-plan, 2 storeys and attics. Plain plinth, projecting quoins
each end. Front door towards right, 1 stone step, 4-panel, top
fielded, bottom flush, 6-panel reveals: fluted Tuscan pilasters,
frieze and pediment, minute dentils below last. To right 1
tripartite sash window, centre 2-pane sashes; fluted Tuscan
pilasters at ends and divisions; minute dentils along top, flat
head. Flat headed opening to cellar below in plinth. To left 2
similar windows, and 6-panel door, top glazed, centre fielded,
bottom flush, plain reveals, moulded surround, flat head. First
floor all 2-pane sash windows. Three hipped dormers, moulded
eaves, 2-light casements. Gable chimney on right behind ridge,
large brick chimney on ridge between windows to left of front door.
