churchyard, about 7m west of north-
west corner of tower, Church of
St. John the Evangelist

GV II


Chest tomb: mid C18. Stone. Flat lid, moulded edge. Lyre
ends, scrolls framing centre oval, moulding to returns. Sides
raised rectangular panel, scroll and leaf decoration at ends.
Chamfered plinth. Inscription weathered, probably to a
Pauncefoot.
