Small house: 1848 for the National Co-operative Land Company by F.
O'connor. Altered C20. Wet-dash render to brickwork and plinth:
slate roof. Three-bay front, lean-to to rear, single-storey.
Slightly projecting gabled centre bay: fully glazed mid C20 front
door, single-light mid C20 windows each side. Plain string course
to base of gable, quatrefoil ventilator above, slightly projecting
verge course. Plain eaves rafters, moulded corbel to foot. Either
side metal casement window; slightly projecting double eaves
course. Brick chimneys to gables each end, to centre and left of
centre rear. Listed principally for historical and sociological
interest; forms group with other Chartist cottages and school
(q.v.). Originally with 2-acre plot.
