8/67 Four Oaks Cattery

House: first part C18, C19. Brick nogged timber framing, timbers
slight; brick painted with timber framing; asbestos slate;
tiles. Three-bay, with end leanto facing road, extended one bay
at right rear to form L, 2 storeys, angle infilled, with roof
parallel to road. Facade to road: framing 2-panels high per
floor: three 2-light casements, ends of main floor braces exposed
between, resting on rails. Six-pane window in lean-to on left.
First floor two 2-light casements, all metal opening lights.
External brick chimney on left gable: lean-to roof tiled. Right
return: late C20 boarded door under gabled hood on curved
brackets: above framing 3 panels high, single-pane window on
right, plain gable above. To right, flush with framing a slightly
higher brick wing, 3-light casement with cambered brick arch on
each floor: boarded door to single-storey leanto extension to
gable on right. External brick chimney on right gable: ridge
higher than front, hipped end appearing over roof to road.
