DYMOCK KNIGHT'S GREEN

5/75 Hill Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse. Mid to late C18; mid C19. Brick, front Flemish bond,
English garden wall bond to side. Tiled roof. Three-window, 3-
storey front, one room deep, 2 parallel 2 storey rear wings. Four-
panel door, bottom flush, top glazed, up 3 stone steps: cambered
brick arch: gabled timber hood on consoles over. Either side
plinth, one 3-light mullion and transom window, cambered brick
arch. First floor either side as below, 2-light similar centre
(all with iron opening lights). Second floor 3-light casement
windows each side, 2-light centre, cambered brick arches. Dentil
eaves. Gable chimneys with slight projection. Large collar
opening down steps on right return. Right rear wing originally
longer than left: both later extended to same length. Forms group
with barn and cider house (q.v.).
