GV II

Farmhouse: late C16 or early C17; late C18 or early C19
extension. Brick-nogged timber framing on stone plinth; Flemish
bond brickwork to extension. tiled roofs. 'I' plan, 3 or 4 bay,
1½ storey wing, leanto to part rear: one bay extension, 2 storeys.
Entrance facade: timber framing 3 panels high to eaves: 2-light
casement on right; 4 panel door, top glazed, bottom flush, 2-light
casement adjoining each side, iron opening lights. To left single
storey, canted bay, 2-light casement, flat roof. Above 3-light
casement in gabled dormer on right, 5-light in similar on left.
To left brick extension: all openings with cambered brick arches.
Right, ground floor, 4-panel door, top glazed, bottom flush: 3-
light casement to left. Above 2-light window, 3-light casement:
dentil eaves. External brick chimney left return. On rear of
timber-framed section large lateral chimney, squared, coursed stone
base. Interior not inspected. Forms group with barn (q.v.).
