Cottage. 1847 by F. O'Connor for the National Co-operative Land
Company: C20 alterations. Random rubble walls faced render lined
as ashlar, asbestos slate roof. Three-room front, slightly
projecting centre, one room deep, lean-to to rear, single storey.
Fully glazed mid-late C20 front door, tall small-paned metal
windows each side, dumb-bell ventilator in gable, plain
bargeboards, timber plaque at apex. Two-light mid C20 metal
window in each wing, in original opening. Hipped roof, chimneys
ends and centre rear. Lean-to to rear rebuilt. Listed
principally for historical and sociological reasons: forms group
with other Chartist bungalows (q,v.).
