House. Probably C16, later enlarged: enlarged and altered late
C20. Brick-nogged timber-framing, asbestos slate roof. Four-
bay, one room deep, 1½ storeys. Garden front, away from road:
external brick chimney on right, rising clear of gable: lean-to
brick extension in angle with gable in front: small casement
window. Most windows and doors late C20: framing 2 panels high
to eaves. On right brace corner post to wallplate: fully-glazed
door, 2-light casement on left. Leanto porch to left, half-
glazed, door right return, over glazed door. Single-pane and 2-
light casements, brace main post to wallplate. Half-glazed leanto
porch, boarded right return with door, glass roof. Left return
external brick chimney. First floor, 3 lean-to dormers, end
single-pane windows, centre old 2-light casement. Internally,
centre bay of original 3-bay house may have been originally open to
roof: end bay on left added, eaves later raised. One boarded
door with iron latch survives inside. Late C20 extension towards
road not of special interest.
