Shown as The Oaks on O.S. map.
Small house. Early to mid C19. Flemish bond, mottled brickwork
slate roof. One bay, 2 storeys, with rear wing. To road:
facade framed by plain pilasters; a third pilaster in centre to
first floor only sitting on plain string course: cambered, rubbed-
brick arches link 3 pilasters just below eaves. Ground floor, on
left, 6-panel door, up one step, under gabled porch with trellis
sides and framing to end, timber finial to apex, corrugated-iron
roof. Sixteen-pane sash with rubbed brick arch to right. Two
similar windows first floor. Flat soffit to eaves, roof hipped on
front, gabled rear: external chimney on right return, 2-light
casement with cambered brick arch in gable of leanto beyond.
Brick chimney at rear to left of ridge. Lower 2 storey section to
rear, same width as front.
