House, at one time (probably C19) divided into two cottages, now one house. C17
with C19 and C20 extensions. Timber framed with brick infill and clay tile roof.
Two cell lobby entry house with additional C19 bay to left and modern wing to rear
of bay. he some time in the C19 the lobby entry was closed and paired doorways
inserted in hall bay. This has been changed again and the present entry is in
the C19 extension to the left. One and a half storeys, presently 5 bays, 2 C19,
hall bay stack bay, parlour bay. Rather uneven square framing with some diagonal
bracing. All windows are modern small paned standard casements and French doors,
except for plate glass modern windows in modern gable end. 5 dormers to upper floor.
Large brick central stack partly reconstructed. Internal planning altered because
of C19 conversion and C20 reconversion. Good quality frame visible WmhW. Good
back to back fireplaces with oak lintels and stone jambs, both rooms with stop
chamfered spine beams and original joists. Stair modern, original and both C19
ones are gone.

Roof space not inspected but closed queen post trusses apparent.
