Remodelled 1690. Ashlar front on chamfered plinth. Cotswold stone roof. Two storeys
and attics. Modern gabled dormers. Two windows. On first floor 4 light stone ovolo
mullions, ground floor shop windows. Moulded segment-headed doorway to left of
centre, Bookshop entrance to right of centre. Moulded stone cornice angled to fit
very fine sundial inscribed WSS over 1690. Rear: gabled stair turret with oculus.
Interior: front conceals a partial timber frame on first floor. Good late C17
fireplace on ground floor of Green Dragon.
