Possibly early C18. Wide 7 bay ashlar facade of 3 storeys in fact 2 houses about
a central carriageway (formerly one burgage). Bands between floors, quoins,
cornice with dentils to corona, parapet with moulded coping ramped up to urn-finials
at ends and centre. Glazing bar windows with keystones, pivotted lights on second
floor, sashes below. Central through passage with bracketted hood, panelled door
to left of this with traceried overlight. Interwar 'Georgian' bank front to right
of 3 bays, entrance to left.
Slate roof with ashlar end chimneys.
Through passage rear lintel has an early C18 relief with shell and head with folded
wraps.
