C18, possibly earlier. Rubble and thatched row of cottages (in poor condition at
time of resurvey). Once 4 or 5 cottages. One and a half storeys, 2 dormers cut
into thatch, 4 windows on ground floor chamfered mullion to right hand window,
gabled single storey extension to right. Four doors, the right hand one and stable
door to former forge. Large gabled side stack to left. Two ashlar chimneys (one
crumbling). One window with chamfered mullion to rear. Interior: bay over forge
is a smoke bay with wattle partition; timber-framed partitions; central chimney has
