SO 82 NE (eastside)

3/29 The Hoo House
House. Early C19, later alterations. Pebbledash on brickwork,
smooth render to openings and porch, tiled roof, smooth render rear
wing, slate roof. Two-room front, slightly-lower rear wing, all 2
storeys. Front: 2 symmetrically-placed arched recesses rising
through both floors, 4-centred heads: smooth render to plinth;
central, single-storey porch, smooth render, half-glazed door,
shaped wooden gable projecting over. In recesses each side 3-light
casement window, 4-centred arch; above similar 2-light windows in
recesses. Dentil eaves, hipped roof, central ridge chimney.
