Barn. C17, altered late C18, mid C20. Rubble stone plinth, brick-
nogged timber-framing, brick gable left return; tiled roof.
Three-bay barn. Framing 3-panels high, angle struts main posts to
wallplate. Double boarded doors to road, offset towards left of
centre bay, stopping one panel short of eaves. Right return
timber-framed, brick plinth, shuttered opening, angle braces to
tie-beam. Gable above rebuilt in brick with ventilation slit.
Centre doors filled whole bay, rising to eaves, before mid C20;
roof then half-hipped and partly thatched. Both gables rebuilt
above tie-beam level, left completely, brickwork painted mid C20,
purlins renewed; plinth may have been rebuilt also. Interior not
inspected; included principally for group value; forms group with
Yew Tree Farmhouse and Apperley House (q.v.).
