Mausoleum. Probably 1833. Ashlar stone: 4-bay range of conjoined
chest tombs. Each bay a single-stone coped lid, on plain batted
cornice, with plain, slightly projecting pilaster strips at ends
and bay divisions on long sides, ends cornice only, with applied
plaque at west end. Surrounded by low, roll top plinth, originally
carrying iron railing. Inscriptions on lid in good lettering,
mixed upper and lower case, some italic, all repeated on end
plaque. Long series to Strickland family, first 1833.
