C18. Ashlar front with steeply pitched slate roof and rubble side and rear walls.
Two storeys and attic, 2 windows. Ground floor has modern display window on left,
modern bay on right but existing window head retained. Central doorway in moulded
architrave with keystone. Sashes with glazing bars above, keyed architraves. Central
gabled dormer, ashlar end stacks. Small 2-storey, 2 window section adjoins behind
Curfew Tower. Gabled extension to High Street, to north of Curfew Tower has a
ground floor bay and a door to north, on lintel of which is painted "Crown Inn".
