SP 1935 7/48 BLOCKLEY ASTON MAGNA

Early C18 farmhouse (formerly called Upper Farm) restored and extended in C20.
Two storeys and attic; basement to right hand side. Coursed rubble capped now by
concrete Cotswold tile roof, 2 ridge chimneys. Four modern gabled dormers.
1:2:2 windows of cross mullion type. Modern pedimented portico to right of centre
with modillions to pediment and fluted Doric columns, sun dial or date tablet over;
Tudor arch doorway with panelled spandrels and urn-steps. L-plan to rear, original
stair turret in angle with narrow stair window having 3 transoms.
