Description

SP 1837 5/27 BLOCKLEY PAXFORD

Circular Feeding Yard
about 60 yds South-West
of Paxford House

II

Probably mid-late C19. Circular enclosure with 5-7 ft rubble walls. Entered from
East. Entry flanked by 2 quadrant stalls with Cotswold stone roofs (part tiled to
North, part asbestos roofed to South). Later sheds within enclosure not included.

A very picturesque agricultural building, presumably once a milking yard. (In poor
repair at time of resurvey 1982).
