5/47 Gate Piers (2 sets) and boundary
wall at Hidcote Manor

GV II


Gate piers, 2 sets, and attached walls up to barn (q.v.) and former
chapel (q.v.), forming part of boundary of courtyard north east of
Hidcote Manor (q.v.) C18. Square ashlar limestone piers with
fielded panels and moulded tops with vase finials. The piers
adjacent to the former chapel have pilasters with console brackets
at the top and pyramidal stones at base. Double gates, each of 6-
panels, C20 copies of originals. National Trust property.
