4/141 Seagrave Arms
House, now public house. C17 with large early C19 addition.
Coursed and squared limestone with stone slate roof to C17;
limestone ashlar with Welsh slate roof to C19. Square plan of 2
storeys with central staircase; attached C17 wing. Main elevation
of 3 windows and 2 storeys; side of 2 windows; plain upper floor
band; 16-pane sashes with keystone lintel; hipped roof. C17 wing
has recessed chamfered and ovolo-moulded mullion windows; one large
east-facing 3-light is C19; small trefoil-headed lancet at south
gable end. Chimneys have moulded caps.
