GV II

House. Late C18 with C19 single storey extension to right. Ashlar
facade and C20 porch. Coursed, squared and dressed limestone
otherwise; brick gable to rear. Grey, slate roof with flat gable
coping and ashlar gable end stacks with moulded top courses.
Limestone, slate roof with ball finial on C19 extension right.
Tiled roof on extension left. Main body with extension set back
left with gable end to road and similar extension almost flush with
facade, attached right. Main body, 2 storeys and attic lit by flat-
roofed dormers, from roof, with 2-light C20 wood casements with
single horizontal glazing bars. 3 windowed. Two, 16-pane sashes
one with horns, flanking central 2-light windows with semi-circular
head, replacing original sash. Sash windows to ground floor also,
with continuous string over. Central C18 door with 6-fielded
panels porch with hipped roof. C19 single storey extension right,
C17 style with a 3-light mullioned and transomed casement with
metal windows with glazing bars and stopped hood. Single storey
service wing attached left with C20 wood casements.
Interior: retains interior shutters to sash windows.
