SO 91 SE COLESBOURNE RAPSCATE

3/39 Barn at Rapsgate Park

Barn. C18. Random rubble limestone; dressed stone quoins and
doorway jambs; timber barn door lintels; stone slate roof. 5
bays with barn doors on central bay. Lapped timber boarding over
barn door lintels. Ventilation slit in wall to each bay, some
being blocked; 2 at upper end either side of high-level doorway
with timber lintel. Blocked doorway at lower end facing into
yard. Tie-beam and collar trusses; 2 tiers of purlins. Barn
stands in corner of yard with adjoining cart sheds and other
buildings which are not of special interest.
