Detached house. C17 with C20 extension wing. Coursed and random
rubble limestone; ashlar chimneys with moulded caps; stone slate
roof. 2 storey with attic; fireplace backing onto cross-passage;
one room laterally to left and right; 2-storey wing at back. 3-
window front: doorway off centre with timber lintel; 3-light
windows to ground floor and 2-light above, all recessed chamfered
mullioned with hood mouldings; leaded casements; 3 galled roof
dormers; 2 chimneys at ridge. Altered fenestration to lower
gable end: single 2-light above 3-light, both with artificial
stone lintels and without hoods; C20 oval window to attic.
Single 2-light recessed chamfered mullioned window with hoodmould
to each floor at back. C20 casements with timber lintels to lower
side of back wing; deep stone lintels to openings on north side.
Altered interior. Commanding position in village.
