Formerly 2 houses, now one house. C17 and late C17 or early C18;
late C20 addition. Random rubble limestone; ashlar dressings and
quoins; stone-slate roof; ashlar chimneys with moulded caps.
C17 house of 2 rooms and 2 storeys with gable fireplace; late C17
or C18 addition, formerly of 2 rooms, single-storey with attic;
late C20 staircase hall and single room addition to form T-plan.
South gable end with parapet and cross-gablet saddle; single
window fenestration below: 3-light to ground floor with 2-light
above and oval attic window, all recessed chamfered mullioned with
hoodmoulds. Stone sundial set at angle on south east corner dated
1836. Single 2-light to west side. Scattered fenestration to
east side, with 2 attic gables added to right half in late C20:
doorway with timber lintel and plank door, and 3-light to each
floor to left, the ground floor window having a hoodmould extended
to left; 2-light chamfered mullioned window to right of doorway
with hoodmould, and late C20 3-light with hood beyond; timber
casement in each gable with timber lintel. Altered fenestration
to north wing facing west; scattered fenestration to C20 wing.
Interior to C17 house retains original fireplaces.
