SO 90 NE DUNTISBOURNE ROUSE MIDDLE DUNTISBOURNE

6/92 Barn to south of Manor Farmhouse

GV II

Barn with attached cartshed at south end. C18. Random rubble
limestone; stone-slate roof to barn, corrugated iron to cartshed.
Barn of 5 bays with loft at north end. West side: low central
doorway with plank door; timber lintel and stone relleving arch
over; small pedestrian doorway with timber lintel to left; garage
doorway with timber lintel to cartshed which has half-hipped roof.
East side: large plank barn doors in opening with timber lintel;
roof sprocketed and extended over doors to form porch; pair of
small trefoil-headed lancets to loft over cartshed. High level
pitching doorway to loft at north gable end; slit vent over. C19
king post truss roof. Included for Group Value.
