SO 90 NW EDGEWORTH EDGEWORTH VILLAGE

Row of 3 houses. c1860. Coursed and squared limestone; ashlar
chimneys with moulded caps; stone slate roof to No 1, plain tile
to Nos 2 and 3; rendered additions at back with corrugated asbestos
roofs. Double depth plan with i room frontage; single storey with
attic. Picturesque front: each house has recessed chamfered doorway
with roof brought down to form porch, supported on timber struts
resting on stone corbels; plank door with elaborate iron hinges,
keyholes and closing rings; recessed chamfered mullioned window
with hood mould and relieving arch, 5-light to Nos 1 and 3, 4-light
to No 2; 3 roof dormers with pierced barge boards and timber framed
gable; 2 large chimneys at ridge. At back single-storey additions
to Nos 2 and 3; single and 2-light recessed chamfered mullioned
windows; 3 hipped dormers. Roof half hipped at ends.
