Detached house. Late C17; large early C20 addition. Coursed
rubble limestone; ashlar chimneys; stone slate roof. Two-storey
original house with single-storey and attic addition at right
angles at higher level to south end. Front: 2 half gables with 2-
light recessed chamfered mullioned casement to each having
hoodmould; 3 and 2-light casements to ground floor set below.
Single-window fenestration to gable end of cross wing, large 4-
light casement with 2-light above. Chimney gable on north side of
cross wing set above lower ridge-line. Wall to high level front
terrace has round arched opening at low level. North end: lean-to
addition with partially closed porch; off-centre upper floor
single-light with hoodmould. Ashlar gable-mounted chimney with
plain cap. Large addition with lean-to roof is built against bank
in rear angle. Interior not inspected. Picturesque composition.
