Formerly 2 houses, now house with shop at west end. Late C18.
Coursed rubble limestone; ashlar chimneys; stone slate roof.
Two-storey with attic and cellar; single-storey shop at west end;
outbuilding linking with The Old Manse (q.v.) at east end. Front:
scattered fenestration, all leaded timber casements with flat stone
arches; mixed lintels to upper floor. One casement in former
door position to right. Corresponding doorway to left with timber
framed porch and glazed door; further blocked doorway to left.
Three gabled roof dormers. Four ridge-mounted chimneys with
moulded caps. Garden wall with doorway links with shop to left
having lean-to roof. West end: gabled with canted bay window to
ground floor. Shop window to outbuilding. Rear: no
fenestration except for upper floor single-light. Interior not
inspected.
